Rare Coleco ADAM Slot #2 IDE Hard Drive Controller. After visiting the A.N.N./MicroFox Test Lab in Michigan, this little gem has returned to the Museum validated and tested. We are now aware that Micro Innovations had numerous prototypes and designs which have only come to light in recent years. This one is either a prototype design or a very low production unit. This card offers full IDE HD control, a printer port, a memory address jumper and a Boot EPROM installed. The unusual part is the control chip used is not open seen in ADAM production products and is a gem for using slot #2.

Today a special and rare item arrived to the Museum. A complete ADAM Final Test Module with all supporting hardware. There are many suggestions on the beb to its true functionality, however no definitie conclusions posted. I do not believe the units that made there way on eBay 15 years ago were complete. We look forward to evaluating and preserving all we can from this rare find!!!!

The Lundy Electronics ADAM Gamma DRAM to SRAM Converter PCB is the first conversion of its kind designed for the ADAM. The design uses modern, readily available components to replace original, obsolete DRAM. The added benefit of this mod is that it also removes all eight DRAM and two multiplexer ICs and replaces them with a single SRAM IC. All the original DRAM, associated decoupling capacitors, and two multiplexer ICs are completely removed from the system. The new SRAM Conversion PCB then installs where the original components were removed, and specific required pins are then soldered in place on the PCB. The Converter PCB only requires 36 total solder pins versus the original 176 total DRAM, associated decoupling capacitors, and multiplexer IC solder joints.
